Fellow OC CRFG member Ty Teissere took us on a journey through the underground environment that helps your fruit trees thrive. He Explored soil types, common limiting urban conditions, and the microbiology that steers the whole system.
Ty Teissere is an ISA Certified Arborist and has been a member of the OC Chapter for 14+ years. He runs a commercial worm compost business, Vermilion Compost, where he wrangles 200,000+ worms to create microbially rich amendments for backyard gardeners. He specializes in ecological irrigation systems, soil health, and growing mind-blowing fruits.
