May 15, 2025 Meeting: Rare fruits - Eugenia for SoCal

Kelly Gabrysch, known for his YouTube channel FancyPlants, talked about some of the 75+ Eugenia species he is growing in his SoCal garden (plus dozens of different passifloras, annonas, pouterias and psidiums.) 

Kelly said that some of his eugenias produce amazing tasting fruit while others taste disgusting. Kelly had a lot more to say about this underappreciated family of edible fruiting plants.
