Helping with the 2025 Annual Plant Sale

Volunteering
Without the wonderful help of our volunteers who organize, label, price, sell, and provide information to the public our annual plant sale would not be one of the highlights of the season. We have been able to waive chapter dues for the last several years because of the success of the plant sale. We appreciate our members volunteering to help during this time.

This year we will have two shifts of volunteers setting up on Thursday May 8 and a single smaller shift on Friday May 9 for organizing the plants for the sale. On Saturday May 10, there will be three shifts for selling plants and providing information to the public.

Click here to sign up for a volunteer shift.

Alternatively, email [email protected] with the shift(s) you are available for.

Donating Plants
Let’s make this another successful Plant Sale by donating lots of quality plants and trees.

Click here to see the current list of plants that will be for sale on May 10. This list is live and will grow as more plants are donated.

Plants that cannot be donated:
  • Citrus and citrus relatives - due to the ACP/HLB quarantine throughout Southern California.
  • Patented varieties - check this list for active patents. If the patent has expired, then it is ok to donate the plant.
(Note that this list has not been updated in several years and does not include any patents filed after June 19, 2018)
  • Patented varieties sold by Dave Wilson Nursery - active patents are listed with their plant descriptions - click here.
